Usb Drain Camera

Hi the other half wants to order a USB Drain camera. I've found a few on Ebay and Amazon but I'm really unclear how they work. If the USB needs to be plugged into the PC then its not viable, the PC is too far away from the drains. Could someone please explain how these things work in laymens terms for me. Thank you. This is one we've been looking at.

Yes you need to plug it into a computer, one imagines people who use such things have laptops

Those endoscope cameras are fine for small spaces but if he needs one for outside drains then something bigger may be needed.

Think you can hire those.

They are listed as drain cameras Mamya and most of the reviews say they do the job. Anyone, can t get one as no laptop :0( xx
