Tuesday. The sky's so clear this morning, the stars are putting on a wonderful display, I haven't seen it so clear for a long time. Most of the snow has gone. I shan't miss it!
The shower room still not quite finished. The ceiling needs painting, I'll probably do that myself or it will be another five weeks!
Must book a haircut today, beginning to look like an Old English sheepdog!
Hi Alba, yes keeping busy with various jobs you know, at this time visiting my friend that had a seizure last week, his wife does not drive so I'm the taxi, a few things in the pipe line, how are you?
The coarse fishing season is between 15th June through to March 15th on rivers, but enclosed still waters and canals can be fished all year round Alba. Too cold for me right now, but I like to get an hour or two in early new year after the festive season, if we get a sunny dry day.
odd how we end up yakking about fishing - the younger alba mentioned to me yesterday about going fishing just to pass a few hours, told him season was closed.
He was quite sad about that, but reckoned the fish need a holiday.
Local tackle shop is moving in January to larger premises, fortunately not that much further away from where they are at the moment and will be easier to park for the driving anglers.
Alba, fishing is a great pastime for youngsters. They learn to appreciate the environment and get away from the pc screens and phones for a while. All the youngsters that I meet at the pool seem to be very level headed and well rounded future adults. I would encourage him to get out there and have a go.
Togo, both boys love fishing.
Since they were knee-high they have always had an appropriate rod size.
Now they each have 2 rods, heaven knows how many Mr Alba has.
When time and money permit, the 3 will toddle off quite happily to River Leven or Loch Awe or even down local to the Cart.
Fishing clears and cleanses the mind and soul. :-D
