im due to go get the bar changed on my tongue piercing tomorrow at the piercing place as i have had it done for a week, but i was wondering if its normal for the tongue to go a white-ish colour? ive been cleaning my teeth as usual, and swishing warm salt water around in my mouth probably twice a day and then after any food also. jsut wondering if this is normal? it doesnt hurt anymore and its not sore at all. i'll ask tomorrow when i go in, but i just wanted to know if any of you knew.

many thanks

Yeah, mind was for a while too. I am not exactly positive about why. I have heard it has something to do with calcium buildups, but I could definately be wrong. It seems kinda fast to be changing it?
