how old is a kitten before you can see his testicles? i have had a kitten now for about 5 wks, making it about 13 wks old, and i thought it was a girl, but for the past few days it looks to be growing a pair of man things? now im totally confused.

My kitten Daisy was about 13 weeks old before the vet pointed out that 'she' had testicles and she therefore became Barney...

I had my suspicions earlier but I couldn't see anything 'there' and neither could a friend of mine who had loads of cats!

If you look at the kitten and it appears to be a : area it is male but an upside down ! will be female check this out...

They take a little while for the testicles to drop into place...at first they seem to have a little pouch with nothing in it & fairly suddenly 'plop' the pouch ain't empty anymore!!!

You can tell the sex of a kitten the day its born. Its easy. There are two holes. One butt hole and the other hole. If the holes are close together it is a female, it they are far apart it is a male.
