Madham, I don't the profit we're going to make on this deal is going to make us millionaires, especially when you take into account the lousy returns on the With Profits policies members have held in recent years. Their performance has been a disgrace actually. I will never buy a With Profits policy again !
Yes, I did buy �1000 worth and will hold them until July 07 to gain the bonus shares. Then if they're still looking a reasonable bet, I'l probably put them into an ISA - no point in paying tax on the dividends although all the analysts think they will struggle to maintain these at 4%. The big dilemma now is whether to continue holding my policy.
