Dont Mean This To Be Sexist In Any Way
But are women really just rubbish drivers?

The above is from my local newspaper. (watch the vid)
Ive been in a car on several occasions with a female driver and each and every time Ive been anxious about been a passenger because of the way that they drive.
It seems obvious that the difference between the way that male and female brains are 'wired' that we would have different ways of doing things, but are there any studies about such things as driving? BTW over the xmas period I was nearly run over by a female driver half way over a zebra crossing who obviously wasn't looking where she was going. (and not for the first time)
Not meant in anyway as a slight on females, more an observation that we all have different capabilities,
(read something once about spatial awareness differences between male/ females but cant remember much about it)

//Men tend to think they can drive well naturally//
Have to disagree with you there gness. I know at least a couple of men who know that they are carp drivers.
Dont know why some people (such as Islay) take umbridge with the question (must be a bit of insecurity). I have no trouble acknowledging that women are better at some things than men.

Interesting, Nailit.......I don't know any man who will tell me he's not a good driver........or that he is nervous about driving...yet I know a good few women who will happily admit to nerves or lack of confidence.....
Thinking about it the women I don't like being a passenger with are the nervous ones who drive as if they're in a little cocoon with no awareness of what is around them.....
The men I don't like to have acting as my chauffeur are the gung-ho ones who think they own the road.....x

Nailit's original post referenced a video of a woman *parking* a car.
As I said before, in my experience women are, on the whole, better drivers, but men, on the whole, tend to be better at parking.
The first two Google results I found are both from the Telegraph, less than three months apart, and come to opposite conclusions!
