***... Many thanks mac...
I get that Al Gore was a VICE president but in my book "galore" does not mean "everywhere". Or am I parsing this wrongly.
galore
ɡəˈlɔː/Submit
adjective
in abundance.
"there were prizes galore for everything"
synonyms: aplenty, in abundance, in profusion, in great quantity, in large numbers, by the dozen; to spare; everywhere, all over (the place); informala gogo, by the truckload, by the shedload
"the shop contained fine furniture and paintings galore"
It's the pinching bit I had problems with.
Pinching isn't often used as a containment indicator but it works I feel in this clue.
No, not often seen, Mamya.
Hmm. Mamyalynne, we obviously use different books. Thanks.
