I have some left, Mikey.
It's homecare

Homeserve is from a different company
Our electricity went one year and we don't have homecare. BG came out and fixed it no charge.
After a nightmare getting any plumber to visit and then ending up with an incompetent one who failed to permanently fix the issue, I finally got BG out a few years back. Joined Homecare for peace of mind. Annual cost has gone up way over inflation since then. Turns out that peace of mind must be a gold mine for them.
I'm glad everyone's boilers are ok.
How much do you pay for the service, if you don't mind my asking?

We have a local man who services our boiler once a year and fixes any problems for about £60 a time.
Not in a position to check at present but way way way over £60. If your plumber is willing to come out promptly and does a good job, stay with him instead. But if he's that good he must be inundated with work.
think we pay around £20 per month for homecare, used it once for new pump, which was then usurped by a new boiler just a month or two later

Yes, you are right Bazile...Homecare. We have Homeserve as well, so I get mixed up.

I hope that's not just for Boiler cover , murray
Forgot to get back to this one.

4 years ago it was just over £285 a year. Since then it's gone up 12.73%, 18.83%, and this year a further 12.42% resulting in a bill just over £429 ! Ruddy gold mine. Were it not for the bad experience trying to get a decent plumber when I needed one, I'd have knocked it on the head; but I don't want another winter like I had before I signed up.
