Well, sat for another hour in a Tesco carpark waiting for daughter to do her Theory test, again. The bloomin 3G in my phone wouldn't work for some reason, so it was the most boring hour of my life. Except, that I found a mint hot chocolate in Costa, which was lush.

Anyhoo, she passed. Thank God!

When my son did his theory test I went to watch some cricket, as the ground was just down the road from the test centre. Quite a nice way to kill a bit of time. Probably couldn't have done that today, though.
Well done to young raccoon.

This test centre is in a crappy place. It's on an industrial park with very little parking, so I had to drive to Tesco and park in there. The old centre was in the middle of the town so you could do a bit of shopping while you were waiting.
At least it's the last time I'll have to do it.
Well done to your daughter.
Well done to Rockess Junior......I remember your last thread and she has done well to get a re-test so swiftly. Next up the practical. Let's hope she is on the road for the summer.

We were very lucky, Togo. I fully expected a 6 week wait for a retest, but there were quite a few available for this afternoon. She's only had one practical lesson, so far, we just wanted her to get the theory out of the way so that it doesn't impact on any of her exams like it did for my son.
Glad she's passed, Rocky....as you say...out of the way now and you don't have to pass another hour sitting in a car park....x
Well done to the young one, how long is it valid for do you know RR? Once done, does the theory pass stay with you or do you have to take the practical within a set period of time?
Question Author
Hi Maydup. It's vaild for 2 years, so she'll have to pass the practical in that time or retake the theory, again.
Ah, thats fair enough isnt it? Never had them in my day!
Well done to your daughter!

Thanks, Patsy.

I never had to do the theory test, either. Just a few questions at the end of the test after I got back to the test station. I don't think I answered them all correctly.
