Just been out and stopped off at pub for lunch. Just us two and a family of four with a gorgeous well behaved Labrador. In came another family, grandparents, adult daughter and her son of around 12. For the next hour or so we had the grandmother on her mobile making calls and really shouting. The boy crying his eyes out because there was nothing he liked on the menu. The father pulling his track suit trousers up to show his infected leg. He then finished the entertainment by breaking wind. The dog could have given them some lessons in manners.
There are many things our fellow homo sapiens could learn from our four-legged friends.
In many cases dogs are cleaner, brighter, more intuitive, family focused, self-controlled, well-behaved, trustworthy, loyal and seldom bite the hands that feed them.
NoMercy, the dog was lovely, he/she lay under the table and gazed at us with big brown eyes, although I suspect those eyes were really saying "I'd like some of that food please"
