Knowing the venue, it doesn't seem that daft - it's a pleasant enough place (if you ignore the gravestones ...) My main issue would be the utter incompatibility of the demeanour of the guests attending the events - after all a funeral is something of a celebration of the life of the deceased, whereas a wedding is a much more sombre occasion ...
