Tis a sad day.... Syd Barrett
I hate it when someone big in music dies. Pink Floyd were and are such a fantastic group, I have in the last few years rediscovered them. I remember growing up having to listen to my dads LP's and thinking they were strange but now older and I would like to think wiser, I now know they were/are/always will be superb. 'Wish you were here' is one of my favourite albums alongside 'Momentary lapse of reason'. What a shame they never got back together and what a shame such a legend has passed away. I so wish I was older so I would have had a chance to see them, would have been such an experience. I know some of you AB'ers have so come on share.... Wheres Andy I would imagine he has had a chance to?

I know he went a bit strange and went back to live with his Mum and when the other band members went to see him after a few years, he said he didn't know them, so I suppose he wasn't too well for some years, perhaps a mental breakdown? It's a shame that he and the man who modelled himself on Syd, Marc Bolan, have both gone now.
