This week saw my teams gather 120 & 129 points, not enough to prevent a slip of one place to 5th. Players being either sidelined or played when "doubtful" threw me, resulting in a couple of pointless transfers & poor Captain choices.

Heigh-ho, on we go, into a very busy period... :-))

Scoring goals is the hardest thing in football but doing it in a struggling team is double harder

Hey Mr Chairman, you forgot to mention that Saturdays Kick-off is at 12:30 Leicester -v- C Palace, when the deadline closes for captain changes etc..

Hi all - sorry about the lack of a reminder last week, ta Arky & for the table!

One match - Arsenal v Liverpool - this evening, then 9 tomorrow & 8 on Tuesday, with one each on both Wednesday & Thursday evenings.

Keep an eye on team news, **especially suspensions & injuries** & get those Captains picked! I definitely need to get juggling my players...

Last weekend saw miserable totals for me of 71 & 59 points, yet each team climbed a place. I'll take that, thanks ;-)

Hi L,I,K. nice one for the reminder this evenings game could be a good one. It took a bit of sorting selecting Captains for the week ahead but may need to change them later in the week.

Hi FFers, missed your earlier posts, but can echo your concerns. Was relieved when cooking the festive ham....... I was able to pull my hamstrings without any noticeable injury. My Christmas cards during the last week have all been yellow, so I could do with a bit of sparkle to go with them. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Hi all - I hope everyone had a decent Christmas & racked up good points? My teams managed 180 (darts, all day long...) & 164, would have been higher if I'd picked the right Captains.

4th & 8th positions - I'm not entirely displeased, but at the end of the day, if you'd offered me that at the start of the season, after realising it's always been a game of some halves, I'd've had your hand off.

I've been in just now, used 3 more transfers - how are Spurs not playing at all in Game Week 21?.

One team didn't have a Captain for tomorrow, so I'm hoping I've done right & the lad gets a game... No, not telling. Shan't, can't make me.

In case I don't post here again beforehand, I'll take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year! :-))

Hi Lie In, same here, Capito choices cost me dearly in the last 2 weeks. I have looked back and worked out that I missed out on 30pts or so for both teams ah well. I think "Rob's Robbers" manager has a crystal ball hidden away. Beware that Kane seems to be doubtful due to illness, so no game for Spurs may be a blessing, giving him time to get well perhaps. I am going to wait until last minute before making choices this weekend and use the half hour or so after the teams are posted, particularly today, before setting Capitos. Happy New Year to you too Lie In King, and thank you for your great contributions to our league set up etc.

Hi all - I hope everyone enjoyed the festive season's kickabouts? If I'd remembered to sort injuries & Captains every day, my teams would have racked up more than 130 & 128 points. Heigh-ho, held the same League positions & I see we have a new leader - well done Rob :-)

Next matches are 13th, 14th & 15th Jan - I'll start a new thread for us on the 12th as this one will stop showing in LP on the 15th.

Hi L-I-K, I always drop points around Christmas and New year as I'm never about to be able to change them and it seems a bit rude, best I could do was follow the latest scores of the games. Hey ho though Togo Knocked off his perch ;-) and I've dropped down to seventh, which I kinda suspected I would 5 points behind Togos' B team.

He's put on weight and I've lost it, and vice versa
