This disgraceful business is still rolling on it would seem. Warboys should not be released. There are hundreds of women at risk if he is let out.

There we are Islay ....you can take a horse to water, etc, etc.
Mikey's BBC news link is quite thorough.
So he has not been convicted of 100’s of rapes.
Mikey wiki is written and edited by anyone, you could have written part of that article.
So not a case of taking a horse to water (a tad insulting by the way) but instead a case of instead preferring to read the unbiased legal documents.

Islay....you asked the following question ::::

"Was his trial based on a 100 rapes? Or just the 1’s they had solid evidence?"

The BBC link above, and the Wiki article both gave the same, 100% correct answer ::::::

"The taxi driver was jailed in 2009 for a minimum of eight years for drugging and sexually assaulting 12 women"

Those are not opinions but facts.

And yet you seem not to believe that, and then go onto say that you would rather believe the "court papers"

Hence my comment about horses and water.
So Mikey you have answered my question - his trial and subsequent jail sentence is not based on the alleged 100' of crimes - just the 12!
And by saying just I am not belittling the suffering that the women went through.
You and emmie are both hung up on the number of alleged crimes that he may have carried out and are saying that he has not served enough time.
But I repeat again he has not been tried on 100's of crimes just 12 therefore he cannot be jailed for 100's of crimes.
Again I find your attitude towards me because I do not agree with your point somewhat insulting!
islay your answer is spot on...shame certain people don't understand you

Islay...I was merely commenting on your lack of ability in reading the evidence that was presented to you.

For the record, if the CPS are not going to open the previous cases as again, and they have said that they will not, then that just leaves the situation where the Parole Board has agreed that Warboys is no longer a danger to the public.

That is why he was sentenced to an "indeterminate sentence" back in 2009.

I remain unconvinced that this dangerous man isn't a danger anymore, although it appears that when he is released under licence, he will be under an extremely strict regime.

Lets keep our fingers crossed that he doesn't revert back to his old ways.
//Islay...I was merely commenting on your lack of ability in reading the evidence that was presented to you. //
Again rather insulting - I do no lack any ability other than the ability to suffer fools!!
I am more than capable of reading the biased material you provide but I prefer to get my reading material from a better source - ie the courts themselves.
How many times have the news suggested something in a case and then it turns out to be totally wrong?
I can't believe all the knit picking above, the guy's a low life monster who should not see the light of day again. End of.
Islay is completely right- and BBC links often seem to be the most inaccurate and misleading.
The alleged crimes need to be reviewed, not just forgotten about. We had a thread the other day about naming the accused before conviction to encourage people to come forward. But this is why they don't in the first place. It's this dropping of inconvenient accusations that needs changing.

Morning Pixie !

Can you please point out what is incorrect about the BBC link and/or the Wiki entry ?
Morning! Nothing I know of on this occasion- just observation from previously posted links. As Islay says, you do need to take them with a pinch of salt.
I agree he should stay in, but it seems tgey have followed the law so far and now need to concentrate on the other allegations. As that is all they are at the moment.
