jno...I can't answer your question as i am not in receipt of the medical records.
It could be that the WHOLE tumour is benign and the cachectic look is because of nutritional problems brought on by the tumour pressing on the gut OR, part of the tumour has undergone malignant change OR the whole of the tumour is malignant (very unlikely indeed.)
