Just wondering if there are any pick your own fruit farms in bournemouth?

Yes, there's one near Hurn Airport called Church Farm.

These are the directions from Bmth centre.

Get on to the Wessex Way, which is the main route out of Bmth going north towards Ringwood.

Turn left at Blackwater Bridge Junction (you will see signs for the airport) and then turn right at the lights.

Head for Hurn village, then turn left at the roundabout.

Follow the airport road, then turn left opposite the Curlew Pub into Church Lane.

Church Farm is at the end. Phew!!!

Sadly nickmo the PYO at Bear Cross shut down this year, otherwise that would have been the one I would have suggested. Pity that.

Church Farm is about 5 or 6 miles from Bmth centre. A very quick drive along the Wessex Way. Sorry, meant to have put this along with the instructions.

Yes, they are. I've just spoken to a lovely lady and she said that by late August the Strawberries will be over, but you will have Plums, Apples, late Rasperries etc.

They open with the first visitor and close with the last one - very country! It's a beautiful spot so if you have the time take a walk by the river. Have a lovely time!
