is there a progam out that will convert mp3 files into a format that you can play on the samsung e800

The Samsung website states that the E800 accepts SMAF and MIDI files.
The description of this software says it accepts MP3 files and saves as MIDI so, hopefully, it will do the trick. (Anyway, it's an incredibly small download - just 347k - and free, so it's got to be worth a try!):
