Seemed like much more of the same with a side of aspirational, tone-deaf delusionists.

They all know what they're expected to do for the cameras, the audience knows when to whoop and the broadcaster knows it's cheap and cheerful drivel to fill what used to be prime time weekend slots.

I think I enjoyed it because it was a cheerful happy programme and goodness knows we get enough angst elsewhere, so it's nice to have a change.
