Would You Expect Your Wife/girlfriend To Go To The Bar In A Pub?

Any of you gentlemen out there send your wife/girlfriend to the bar to get the drinks when you are in a pub together? I think it's bad form, I would never expect my wife to do so and she never has, I always go. I just wondered what others thought because it's something we have seen more of lately and neither of us thinks it is very gentlemanly.

Not a problem, I often go to the bar when with my OH, have done for many years ! I don't think it matters really.

Mr T usually goes to the bar to get the drinks but I go to order the food if we're eating.

I agree with Melv. A male friend of mine tried internet dating several years ago. He used to tell me how the women that he met always expected him to pay for meals and drinks. I think many of them just used internet dating as a cheap social life at men's expense. And there was me thinking we live in the 21st century
