If this helps 99hammer,

Traditional for 20th is China

Modern is Platinum

Not unusual though, unless the china one is a guzunder!

But I know out of the two choices which my wife would prefer!!
Congrats, Hammer! My love and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in May. We give "us" gifts rather than his-and-hers gifts, which not only takes the pressure off shopping but the shopping itself becomes fun because we do it together.

This year we went to Washington, D.C. (we're in New Jersey) for a long weekend and hit our favorite museums and restaurants. It was a lot of fun. On other special anniversary years, we did things like a hot-air balloon ride and a weekend sailing school. The key for us is doing something unusual together rather than buying an item.

But, of course, I wouldn't have turned down jewelry . . .
Vallium???????
name a star after her cos that lasts forever
Angeldraws - Is Vallium your answer for everything?

When I asked for suggestions for a golden wedding gift last month, vallium was your answer then as well.
All depending where you live, I took my wife on the Orient Express, a four hour round trip, five course Champagne lunch, totally magic, your wife would love it. and congratulations.

THANKS TO ALL - you are a great bunch of people on here
alternatively you could buy her 20 smallish gifts and put them together in a gift basket or wrap each one separately and hide them around the house with clues for her to find them. Congratulations by the way, we celebrate our 25th next year
Hi guys - sorry 99hammer and foxlee - i guess i cant imagine being married that long n not needing any...!! ;o+
