What Do People Do With Their Puppy's Baby Teeth?

I now have 4 from the new addition... am I supposed to throw them away? I feel like that would be the normal thing to do... or do people keep them in a little porcelain pill box like my mother did with my baby teeth?

Curious to what other people do!!

I used to pick them up, spend a few minutes ooing, ahhing and diddums, then throw them away. :-)

We've got a few kicking around here (from current and long dead dogs- my Dad always kept one) but generally we oooh and ahhh and then sling 'em :)

A necklace? The first one that dropped out was a canine, so would actually make a good necklace!!

The others are a bit odd shaped... might oo and ah one last time and then bin them haha.

Got one from my first GSD born in 1978 - wrapped in cotton wool and in my box of bits that mean something. Nowadays I just swear when I stand on one!

I have kept all my pups baby teeth. Didn't get many from this last pup, I think he swallowed them. I could no sooner chuck them away than the human baby teeth.

Had a couple of pups over the years, never been aware of any teeth, maybe lost in garden or in the Hoover?

They sometimes swallow them in their food too.

mostly my pups have swallowed most of theirs. I had one pup who needed one removing at the vets...have found the odd one on the floor...just binned them

I've collected 6 teeth now. Waiting for my other half to come home (back on Friday!) so I can show him. He can then 'ooo' and 'ahhh' and then we'll bin them!
