How are you going to press your clothes with that?
...it looks like a floor cleaner.
To be frank, it looks daft to me. There are lots of things that it couldn't cope with...bed linen for one.
Mikey - you iron your bed linen???

I don't own an iron - much, much simpler.
Not exceptionally pricey. If you've the space, could be worth a punt. (Not that I've any experience of them. I've found one can cope with unironed stuff, but am happy if someone wants to press things for me.)
I do iron the bed linen wolfie.....I like 100% cotton and I like it crisp !
The only things that I need to press are handkerchiefs and I can't see how this item could manage that.
I wonder how many garments that contraption holds at any one time? It seems a bit over the top to me. I wouldn’t want it hanging around. I’d rather do the ironing by hand. (I iron bed linen, but I have a press).
Naomi - I don't think you put things in it. You hang them up and spray them with steam so that the creases fall out. Someone lent us a small hand-held one when our daughter was getting married to get the creases out of her wedding dress. You can use them for curtains etc.
bhg481, I know you don't put things 'in it'. I said I wonder how many garments it holds at any one time. I mean do you hang one shirt on or several at once?
Naomi - sorry, I misunderstood you. It looks like you can just put one garment on the hanger, so no good for bulk crease-removal. Like the one we were loaned, just useful for specific items on "special" occasions. It feels like a cupboard-filler to me.
Incidentally, the one we were lent we were told we could keep, as they didn't use it. That was 30 years ago and it's never been used since.
bhg481, that doesn't surprise me. It looks like one of those 'gadgets' that seem like a good idea at the time - and I bet we've all got a few of those hanging around. I can't imagine business shirts would fare well on it anyway. No nice sharp creases in sleeves and no nice crisp collars and cuffs.
Have you noticed the carpet protector for sale further down? That would put me off, having to safeguard the carpets.
Mum had one such thing, after an initial enthusiasm it was consigned to a back room and ended up in charity shop....
Put it in a cupboard to keep the bread maker company :-)
