Just Wondering If Sqad Is Around.

The daughter still here....problems still with her stomach and saw the GP and gastro doc yesterday, (after a lack of comms between them but they came together). The daughter has given a sample for a fecial calpectenin test that has to go off to Derriford, Plymouth, the GP then calling after further consultation with him to suggest Buscolpan for the stabbing pain that she is getting, upper right of the stomach and also affecting around the back.
She's moaning that it seems to be getting worse....and that the Busco and paracetemol is not working. Anything you would suggest in trying to keep her out of A&E on a Sat night and with the flu bouncing around there - I don't want the mater compromising on that front.
Many thanks...dtc,

dtc...from what you have said in previous posts about your daughter and her investigations, I think that we may well be looking at a psychosomatic disorder and that is way out of my remit.
As for the pain.....it sound that Buscopan is not the answer as it is a spasmolytic (it calms the bowels).
Difficult DTC....111? forget it.......I would take her to A&E as she may need someting stronger such as pethidine or similar.
Sorry DTC I haven't been any help.......
