Do You Forgive Your Enemies ?
Dear Lord, I Hope And Pray This Happens To Me
Toward the end of Sunday Service, the Minister asked his Congregation," How many of you have forgiven your enemies?"
80% of the Congregation held up their hands.
The Minister repeated his question. All responded this time except for one small elderly lady.
"Mrs. Neely, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?" asked the Minister.
"I don't have any enemies" she replied, smiling sweetly
"Mrs. Neely, that is very unusual, may I ask how old are you?"
"I'm Ninety-Eight" she replied
The Congregation stood up and applauded
"Oh Mrs. Neely, would you come up here and tell us all, how you as a person can live for 98 years and not have an enemy in the world?"
The little Sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle, faced the Congregation and said::::::
"I outlived the bitches".
