I'm wondering if I dropped off the other night watching Corrie. One minute Summer, having missed her bus, was offered a lift from a man in a car and the next thing Eileen was telling Billy that Summer was asleep at her (Eileen's) house. Did I miss something?

Phelan went to pick her up at Eileen's request and Summer stayed there because Billy wasn't in a fit state
Pat went to meet her and took her home
Did you not see Phelan turn up to pick her up and scare the man in the car off ?
You did! Pat Phelan arrived just in time and the strange man drove off at high speed. Pat took his reg number so maybe the storyline will develop

Thanks, everyone. I've no idea what I was doing !!!!
Do we know who the man was? There is a character in the TV Times listing for next week- someone who knows Billy- whose name I didn't recognise? (Lee rings a bell).
And who was Adam talking to on the phone when he said it was time that person should now leave Billy alone. I thought it had just been Adam who had been trying to make Billy suffer.
Adam was talking to Summer’s Grandmother,I think.
That makes sense, then, thanks. I wrongly assumed it was linked to the person who tried to get Summer in his car.
The character of Lee is Billy's wayward druggie brother I think.
I thought Adam said to leave Summer alone

Yes, Adam was telling Summer's grandmother to leave her alone now (I did actually see that bit!)
Yes, he did sorry- which is why I wondered if it was linked to trying to the stranger trying to pick Summer up, but it makes a bit more sense now
