A Puzzle - What Was Going On With The Happy Dad?
20 Answers
What do you think was going on here? I don't know it was too bizarre.
I was in the supermarket. Thursday late afternoon. In my face pasta sauces, behind me breakfast stuff. I was looking for my fave sauce.
A man in his 30s bounced down the aisle towards me with a 5 years old girl he was saying at the top of his voice as he approached 'What shall we get for breakfast? shall we get Corn Flakes, or Weetabix. or even Muesli!!!'. The child grunted. He came and stood an inch away from my face lifted the child high above his head and said 'Oh Darling I love you so very very much!'. The child giggled. He did not have a trolley or a basket. Thinking this was a tad creepy I sidled away. He hesitated then dashed off back the way he came without any breakfast cereal carrying the child who was silent.
A while later I bumped into him. He was walking silent with a firm hard face in a straight line to another part of the store no child in sight no basket no trolley. No nothing hands empty. I moved to a crowded section of the store with loads of people.
So was he a week end divorced Dad over compensating? As before but high on coke?
Part of a pick pocket gang seeking to distract me by his antics whilst another 'dipped' me? There were a couple of students standing. Any ideas. I favour pick pocket gang. Grateful for ideas though!
