We've had a spot of luck with other competitors making mistakes but our people had to be in the right position to be able to benefit so yes, well done Lizzie, Laura and Dom.

It is regarded as good/polite practice to avoid giving the results of eagerly awaited sports events in either a headline or first post - especially when the events are happening at times when people may be at work or asleep and may wish to watch them later without knowing the results.

Successive Ab_Eds have endorsed this policy and if a mod sees a deliberate spoiler they are encouraged to deleted it and replace with a post which avoids spoiling other people's fun.

It's not actually that difficult to be nice - but apparently for certain incorrigible ABers it's just too much trouble.
