Has anyone eaten here on their pie nights.
Do they have anything else on the menu apart from the three pies?
We are going there on Thursday. Eight of us go out for a "gang meal" each month and take it in turns to choose somewhere. I didn't choose this venue this time but I like to have an idea what is on offer. I have tried their website but cannot get anything other than pies. I can't really believe that is all they have on offer.
Can anyone help.

I'm sure they'd have a menu running alongside Caran.

Thanks Mamya.
Here's the place for proper pies, Caran.
Try the Desperate Dan ;-)

I actually doubt that. Their website stresses that they operate with only a limited menu and, as I read it, Thursdays is just 'a pie and a pint' night. (With the only options available being related to the drinks, rather than to the food).

I know quite a few country pubs (often with high prices) that operate in a similar way.

As Mamya suggests, phoning is probably best.

tonyav I'm not that struck on pies. I'm hoping they have something else on the menu otherwise I won't be a happy bunny!

There's bound to be, Caran. But has Mamya and Chris suggests give them a call first.

It's a bit difficult with a friend organising this outing. I was just trying to see if I could find out on here.
I will wait to be pleasantly surprised on Thursday I hope!
Where is Peterstow, Caran ?. ( save me Googling ).
I'm guessing that it's somewhere in the Cotswolds seeing as it has 'Stow' tagged on.

Thanks Mamya. If I make not happy with the food I will be happy with the company. We have been having our gang meals for about ten years now. Very enjoyable.
Each couple is different but we gel.

Company is as much part of it, yes.
I've only ever been for a drink, but it's a nice friendly place. I've never heard any bad reports.
