Liv is possibly struggling but didn't think Summer was . She is being dragged down with being a carer for Billy .Might be an idea to take note of the different writers and see if any overlap

Liv isn't struggling with her sexuality...she actually thinks she doesn't have any....ie asexual.

summer was looking deep into the other girls eyes in one scene last night ,think it was at the bus stop .you could see the confusion,

There are only so many 'issues' you can hang a lot on, so the soap writers do tend to follow-the-leader with them, on the basis that most watchers watch multiple soaps, so if they follow that story line on one soap, they will be happy to follow it on one or more others.
