Banning Russia was a meaningless gesture as has now been proved. Even after the national team was banned the 'Olympic Athletes' are still drug users, will they EVER learn?
Possibly this will lead to a total ban on Russia competing in international sport?

To compete internationally for Russia the sportsmen/women MUST agree to commit themselves to doing whatever the teams official doctors tell them to do. The food they eat,the medications they are prescribed are all 'what the Doctor ordered' .They do not get a choice in the matter. So it is the State rather than individuals who is to blame.
What I hadn't realised was that at the Closing Ceremony they were going to be aloud to parade as Russia, with the flag.
Providing there were no "untoward" incidents. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to prevent that.
As "bans" go it's hardly the most draconian. Given they ruined the last Winter Olympics completely.
