The Red Balloon

Does anyone know where I can download the theme from an old French movie titled the Red Balloon. All I seem to be able to find is the 80's pop classic 99 red balloon when I try to search for it. HELP! Thanks.

Try looking it up under "Le Ballon Rouge", which is the original name of the film

Excellent advice from southerngirl there, the track you are looking for is 'Les Ballons Rouge' by Serge Lama so (as southerngirl suggested) its easier to find under its French title - especially when the OTHER song ( '99 'Red Balloons') is so famous.

Thanks for all your speedy replies.
However I see to only be able to find a vocal piece, I am desperately searching for the instrumental music. It's a beautiful flowing played on strings I think....

Thanks for correcting me pappasmurf, yes I was 'allegedly' going to e-mail the mp3 - lol.

Actually I now realise that I've made a boo-boo and mistaken Serge Lama's 'Les Ballons Rouge' as the theme to the film. It isn't, further research informs me that the original fim score to 'Le Ballon Rouge' was written by Maurice Le Roux so now I am trying to track that piece down. Apologies for my error.

Is 'Red Balloon' that 1 which was allways on in the school holidays...along with White Horses, Robinson Crusoe etc?
