Campervan Road Tax

thinking of buying a camper van that will have to be small as need to use it for shopping,(not work) as retired we have to watch the pennies so is it cheaper to tax a camper van than an ordinary van,and as it is mainly for recreation would the insurance be cheaper too,it will be a bargain basement buy. thanks in advance for any guidance

The insurance on camper vans is generally quite reasonable because they're not exactly popular with 'boy racer' types of drivers. You'll probably find the best deals through specialist brokers, such as those mentioned here:
