How much does it cost to swap names on property deeds if no mortgage lenders are involved and how would I do it?

With no mortgage you can DIY for around �60 plus any Stamp Duty that may be due. Speak to your local District Land Registry Office who will guide you through the process (it involves 2 straightforward forms). Speak to 0845 6030125 giving them the value of your property and your proposal and they will advise you as to Stamp Duty liability. In any event arrange with them for a Stamp Duty Land Tax certificate, as the Land Registry cannot finalise the change without it.
