Our recycling day is Wed. The bins have to be out by 7am as the collection is at 7.10 on the dot. On a windy night I cannot put them out the night before. This Wednesday I commented to "She who must be obeyed" that there were only 45 more bin days till Christmas and got a look that told me I was cracking up.

Lol Togo...our bin men are hit and miss...in a cul de sac and car parking is an issue...if they can't get right in they don't bother walking a few yards to pull out ...GGGRRR ...

My bin day is tomorrow. They are pretty good.

There are a lot of pensioners in our street and the bin men will always collect and return bins if someone is unable to do so. Most of us help out our neighbours if needed, even had a note on my bin from the bin man to say a lady two doors down would need help on a temporary basis, He knew I did a few other bins.

Most of my neighbours have the full collection service and don't have to put bins out...but if the truck decides it's not coming in, then nobody gets their bin emptied !

'Morning everyone. Bin day here, too. Our bin men are lovely and leave dog-biscuits on it for Tyke. He's getting excited.
