I suppose that means that we are free to believe just what we want to believe then........ ......Just like the " researchers" in the original theory saying he was black did.

The jist seems to be that they can’t say he was definitely black, but that he was probably black.
The reasearcher who is most doubting the theory has developed a test. Unfortunately that test, when applied to known black people gave results that they were probably fair skin. Which suggests that test is itself unreliable.

Colour is a strange thing, if we all lined up in a large new in order of skin tone there would be a number of dark skinned Europeans up among the lighter people of African origin, and members from Asia sprinkled pretty much along the row. Add in albinos of all races, at one end and the differences suddenly seem less obvious as we would all blur together.
