Do you promote this(other sites you’re honest on) to your friends and family?

I understand that sometimes we need to be silly/ honest away from the afore mentioned but are we that ashamed of our behaviour and are more open to strangers we call friends here (other sites) and would not want them to see our “real us?”

Not judging, just intrigued after reading a related post.

Hi jahulaye, no I don't promote this site to family and friends. I come here for the odd topic that interests me, or to be of help. I like to listen to and share music with others. Neither my family or friends know what I like to listen to.

Mamya... My family are aware of the site and who I am on it, some of them are also members.

Same as Mamya and I'm often on here for the fun element as in Fantasy Football, Music thread etc... bit of escapism but do ask the odd question and read a lot that I don't get involved with, its a good site and highly rate the folk that make it what it is... however I'm not willing to parade around with a sandwich board advertising it.

It an 'okay'site but I think the Q and A parts are overshadowed by Chatterbank, most of the sections are not balanced (R&S/News) which can mean for some its like entering a lions den. The site is more like a members club than a Q and A site. Good for crosswords I suppose.

my family know i use this site, they don't know it as such, and have never asked me to show them, i am honest on here as i would try to be with family and friends.

OH knows I use a q&a forum, and sometimes asks me to look here for help if he's got a problem with his phone or iPad.

He doesn't know it's this one though, and doesn't know what else I post about here.

AB'ers are a good source of knowledge, info and wit.

I don’t really have friends who have much of an interest in current affairs or politics. The reason I post on AB is to have those discussions.
