Cause Of Death
12 Answers
I posted a while ago when my mother passed away and the initial post mortem was inconclusive. I thought those of you who'd expressed sympathy would like to know that we've got a result from the follow up post mortem and fortunately it does not have to go to inquest. Cause of Death was bronchopneumonia - which was more or less expected, but it ruled out a stroke or heart attack etc. We'll be getting a full death certificate in a few weeks.

It's only insurance policies where cause of death is important that need the full certificate. There was no doubt that she was no longer with us and there were no suspicious circumstances, it was just sudden and unexpected and she'd not seen a doctor for a few months (she hated going).
