Any ideas for a small present to take for my friend in hospital. She is in for a while having a big op next week. This is her third time in a few months and she is very freighted and anxious. I know the main thing is that I visit and presents are not important but just would like to take something that will cheer her up. Thanks for any suggestions. (We are ladies in our 60's but young at heart).
This will sound daft...but I did it.....
I bought some funny get well cards.....chopped the front of each into about a dozen or so bits.....and left my friend to put the "jigsaws" back together when visiting was over......x
Plenty of puzzle books and a pen, some nice quality magazines, grapes , chocolate buttons and last but not least a pack of face wipes as its normally so hot in hospital and they are nice and refreshing
A novel you think she might like - when I was in hospital I found that I liked to get absorbed in a book when I felt able to do so. Quizzes and puzzles too. I got my first BA here while in hospital quite seriously ill - AB was a lifeline.
My mother spent quite a lot of time in hospital. Some good suggestions here and I'll add a cologne stick - one of the ones that pushes up from the bottom. It can get hot in hospital mum found it cooled her a little
