my battle with the gym is not really a winning one, but I do want to be all nice and toned. Does anybody know of any supplements to help in the process or is it better to just eat healthy and gym rather than using supplements?

Supplements are for those who want to bulk up. If you want to lose weight, a healthy diet and good exercise regimen are what's required.
You could try one of the 'fat burner' type tablets/capsules. They tend to have a lot of caffeine in them so give you a boost when doing exercise. I'm not sure I believe that they make your metabolism speed up though.

yeah i have actually looked at those, maxitone do a range but its all quite pricey! thanks :)
Kit, save your money. Everything you need is in basic foods. Cook from basic ingredients, cut out the junk and packet meals. Exerise regularly outdoors if poss and you'll be fine.

This has worked for several friends of mine, but they are all male and into bodybuilding. However, it is the best fat burner on the market when combined with exercise and good diet. My friends saw increased definition and stamina during workouts. It may be a little hardcore for some people and it isnt cheap. My advice is see what gains you get from a sensible diet, bearing in mind that we are all different and weight loss/definition can take longer for some people. Stick at it!
