Friday. Nearly the weekend again. The 6 Nations is back. I'll have to iron my green shirt today!

All is tranquil outside this morning, I haven't been outside yet, so can't say what the conditions are. 6.5°C so no frost, no wind. Could be a nice day.

Just some odds and ends of domesticity today, bit's I didn't do yesterday.

Morning Birdies. Beautiful morning....bit of frost but a liquid gold sunrise making the trees and houses all shine bright yellow. It is supposed to warm up a little this weekend thank heavens. Rugby all weekend and Cheltenham starts on Tuesday. What's not to like. Bit to do later, better pay the paper bill before he sends the boys around, and out handy to get a bit of cod loin for the weekend.

just finished painting the bathroom floor, at least its almost done, just the last bit in the corner to do, thought get it done early whilst i am still vaguely upright.

it needed something as when i had the bath ripped out it left some unsightly bits behind. so i painted it last night but the cover wasn't too good, so had another go this morning.

Not been yet this year DT. I was saying a weeke or so ago when we were all snowed in that I was fishing the same week last year because we were enjoying a warm spell. May go and have a scout around later and check conditions underfoot etc. Afraid I'm a fair weather angler these days. I like it warms and comfy and avoid sludge and muck. Just don't appreciate the clean up to car, tackle, and me after a muddy poolside session.
