Stop pretending white people are some hugely discriminated against minority in the face of all possible evidence. They're not; not by any possibly criteria apart from 'do badly written newspapers keep saying they are in kneejerk editorials?'

The idea that a 'representative' workforce will solve all the problems faced by modern society is quite frankly mind bogglingly(!?) simplistic. It also presumes racism on the past of every member of society as they will only feel comfortable dealing with someone of the same colour skin, or an organisation where 'they' (who?) are represented. The whole idea is that IT SHOULDN'T MATTER. These quotas and targets were introduced as a way of monitoring the content of organisations, now they have become distorted into the be all and end all. It's pathetic and I detest the snivelling, weak thinking behind it.
As a white male I actually support it, for one reason and one alone. I have been on the recieving end of prejeudice because I am Catholic from Belfast where, if you were, you were last in the queue for pretty much everything hence the civil unrest regarding housing etc that preceeded the "troubles". When things are monitored you at least ensure that some things are done fairly and proportionately, when they aren't whoever's in charge takes the p**s and favours their own.Take this away and see how many chinese/ black/ asians get a fair crack of the whip with the present climate.
