Bosch Varioperfect Washing Machine

I have noticed that when I put fabric conditioner in the compartment before the wash it goes straight through into the machine and the compartment becomes empty before the wash. Surely this should go into the machine after the wash? My machine is around six weeks old.

Are you putting too much in?
They usually empty into the drum by syphon action, so if you overfill it will start the process

I just tried it again with a small amount of conditioner and its not gone through so Hopkirk you might be right.... Thanks!! Tilly I would appreciate your views though x

Smurf, on the website it says this about The iDOS.

'You may not know how many loads you can wash with 1.3 litres of liquid detergent - but your washing machine does. Simply fill up the convenient tank just once and wash several loads of laundry. In addition to the tank for liquid detergent, the i-DOS system also has a second tank for fabric conditioner. Needless to say, you can still dose detergent manually, too.'

So I think the answer is ... Not too much fabric conditioner. Thanks all, saves me phoning JohnLewis tomorrow .....

Just don't bother with the fabric conditioner as it's completely unnecessary.
