Bathroom Doors - Always Open?

Obviously shut when occupied, but is/was your bathroom door always open or shut?

Similarly, other doors - open or shut?

All upstairs doors shut, and good parlour and pantries doors shut downstairs. Downstairs loo door open as the window in there is how the mogs get in and out

Always open. It's only the girls in the house that shut doors. We don't want the males walking in on us but they don't give two hoots if we walk in on them.

A shut door in my house means you need to knock before entering.

My memories are of pre-central heated places, where leaving some doors open meant what little heat there was might percolate around.

If I'm home all doors are open...except the box room at the top of the stairs. I worry that people opposite can see through to the hall and beyond.
When I go out, bedroom doors are closed, as Sally loves beds.

I'm in a bungalow,I like to leave my front door open so I close the interior doors as nosey biddy next door, her cat and the neighbourhood squirrel - rat to me; might get in, as a child if we left the door open we were asked were we born in a barn or just the room with swinging doors :)
