A beauty salon, local to me, is offering vit B12 injections. £40 or 4 for £120. Shouldn't a doc advise as to whether you needed a vitamin jab, or not?

I get B12 every 3 months but I also have to have blood test to ensure that I don't have 'too much' so yes I am surprised that a salon is offering them

That's what I thought.

A fool and his money.......
Yes, I'm surprised too. I also have an injection every three months, and a blood test once a year. If anyone NEEDS a b12 jab they get it for free at the doctors so why anyone would pay for something they don't need is beyond me.
Too much b12 can also cause problems so it's very surprising that a 'salon' can offer it to anyone who walks through their door.
yup

This is the advert that they've put up. Hopefully it'll be pubic.

B12 shots will do you no harm and neither will they be of value.
Your money........your choice.
If they are of no value why is it important that I have them?
Is it important where they inject ?
Islay....we are talking about people with no medical indication.......you have a situation where B12 absorption may be an issue.

O_G....no it doesn't matter where you inject it.
^^think I'd prefer not to have it injected in a beauty salon, though!
Ah. So much for Rocky's hopes then.
Thanks.

That's my thinking, ginge.

Then again, people have botox injected into their face, in salons. I wouldn't do that, either.
They alternate which arm they jab, not sure it makes any difference but they always check
I have B12 every three months at the docs, another thing to my long list.
I take a B12 and B1 everyday. It says you can't overdose on them.
If you need Vit B your doctor will prescribe it/them. No need to pay a beauty therapist.
Perhaps OG was subtly referring to rocky’s spelling of public?
