I was sitting here working away on my computer when all of a sudden the colour disappeared.
I am now reading, writing and CADing in various shades of grey, black and white.

I have TOTO-ed and the problem remains.
I have looked at the Graphics Card (Screenshot here)

I don't know whether I've pressed something, or other, on my keyboard.

Does anyone have any idiotproof ideas on how I can remedy this situation?

Thankyou.

Try the tried and tested remedy; switch off, wait about 15 seconds, then switch on again.
Are you using a laptop of a desktop? If a desktop have you tried re-seating the screen cable at both ends?

Many thanks everyone else for taking the time to read and try to help.

It is appreciated.
Check that the "Windows" key is not sticking, because when your are pressing "Control & C" to copy something you may unknowingly be pressing "Windows Control & C" instead. I have had this on my keyboard and ended up getting all sorts of things happening because thw "Windows" key was already down without me realising it.
