Poinsettia's

My Christmas Poinsettia is still flowering, albeit looking sad. What to do with it next?. Is there a way of keeping it until next Christmas. thank-you.

For poinsettias to flower again, they have to be kept in artificial light to mimic the light in the parts of the world where they grow naturally. This artificial light is difficult and expensive, so it would be easier and cheaper to let it go, and buy fresh again next year.

I kept one going for months and months. It got leggy and looked sad and then died. :(
