Pdf Apps

Hi
I have a PDF file that I need to edit (need to remove some text). I have Adobe and ABBYY but unless I pay to upgrade I can't edit the document. I will only use it once so don't really want to spend out. (I'm not really mean!) Can anybody suggest a free download that might do the job ? Many thanks.

Since a pdf file is effectively an 'image', basic editing functions can be performed with any image editor which can import the pdf format, with the might GIMP being an obvious choice (unless you've already got Photoshop, of course). I occasionally have to fill in forms which have been sent to me in (non-editable) pdf format and I use either Photoshop or GIMP for the task. (After completing the job, remember to use File > Export, rather than File > Save, otherwise you'll end up with a jpeg file or similar).
