Would like to buy luxury small car with self parking. Safety, reliability and comfortable ride are important. Service/parts cost, speed and MPG are not so important to me. My current car is a Honda Jazz, so something with the same width would be good - then it will fit in my garage. Suggestions please

I would probably start by looking at the Audi A1.
I would agree, hoppy - but Park Assist doesn't seem to be an option on the A1 (unless I've missed it somewhere - the Audi site is very irritating)
Diesel, petrol, electric, hybrid? New or used?
Oh yes, Sunny Dave, I found the Audi parking itself either in a bay or parallel parking.

Personally I would go for something like the A3, but then it wouldn't fit in a garage.

There is also the question of whether you give your money to Volkswagen/Audi after the emission cheating scandal.

The car would be new and petrol.

I'll have a little look at the Audi over the weekend, thank you
It may not tick the boxes for you, but Mini do a self parking version.
Perhaps not seen as a luxury car, but they are built by BMW in Oxford.
Question Author
I think that I need to book some test drives of the cars you have suggested, thank you
Mind you, some Minis are surprisingly big, so don't assume it will fit the garage.
A bit of Googling says your Jazz is fairly narrow.
