Friday. Good Friday in fact. At the moment the moon is big and bright, almost like daylight. Quite beautiful.

Lunch yesterday was fun. We had the weekday offer of two courses for £9.95. Excellent value. I've got something to do today, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is! No doubt I'll be reminded in time.

I am somewhat annoyed. I went to bed last night just after midnight and woke up at about 4.30 for a Jimmy. On the way back I noticed a half-drunk glass of G & T so decided to see it off and have a smoke. I crawled back to bed at around 6 o'clock. I woke up again about 30 minutes ago. Because my near vision is so bad I looked at my watch which told me that it was 3. 25. Thinking that I'd slept through for over 9 hours I thought I'd better get my skates on. Got up and made a mug of tea. Sat down in my armchair and switched on my computer, only to find it was only half past bleedin' eight!

Well, it's turning out to be a beautiful sunny day .. for the moment. My granddaughter has gone out with mum for breakfast .. followed by getting their hair and nails done!
