I remember a scene from a movie that I saw when I was a child ( 60's). I believe it was from the gladiator or biblical genre. A woman was told she would be allowed to live if she could cross over to the other side of the road (? as my memory serves?) She got almost there and then was killed with either an arrow or a spear in the back. I cried..that's all I remember..any help with the tilte?

I have been looking in IMDB for a match, but with no luck. Unless you can remember more of the plot you may never discover the name of this film.

hope you realise how much your question is bugging me. I don't suppose you want to watch Sparticus and see if that is the film? Made in 1960, just older than me.
